- Dua before sleepingIn Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
- Dua after waking upAll praise is for Allah, who gave us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the return.الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
- Dua before eatingIn the name of Allah. (If forgotten:) In the name of Allah, at its beginning and at its end.بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
- Dua after eatingAll praise is for Allah, who fed me this and provided it for me without any power or strength from me.الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
- Dua for leaving the houseIn the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah.بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
- Dua for entering the toiletO Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils (all evil and impure things).اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
- Dua for leaving the toilet(I ask) Your forgiveness.غُفْرَانَكَ
- Dua when sneezingAll praise is for Allah. (Reply:) May Allah have mercy on you. (Then:) May Allah guide you and set your affairs right.الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
- Dua after wuduI bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
- Dua for entering the masjidO Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
- Dua for leaving the masjidO Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
- Dua for travellingGlory be to the One who has subjected this to us, and we could not have done so ourselves. And surely to our Lord we shall return.سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
- Dua for breaking the fast (iftar)The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
- Rabbana Atina fid DunyaOur Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
- Dua for parentsMy Lord, have mercy on them both as they raised me when I was small.رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
- Dua for increase in knowledgeMy Lord, increase me in knowledge.رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
- Dua of Prophet YunusThere is no god but You, glory be to You; indeed I have been among the wrongdoers.لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
- Dua for anxiety, sorrow and debtO Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and being overpowered by people.اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
